Fernbank Forest at Fernbank Museum
While exploring Fernbank Forest, a woman points out something in the trees to a little girl. Take a guided tour or venture out on your own to explore Fernbank Forest. It is part of the Fernbank Museum of Natural History.
The Fernbank Forest receives a lot of new life each spring, including a plethora of wildflowers and blossoming trees. A two-mile trail that runs through Fernbank Forest offers an opportunity to explore nature up close through hands-on exhibits, games, and learning stations. Seeing, hearing and feeling nature and spring are all around us.

It's reality at Gibbs Garden, a world-class garden center just north of Atlanta. More than 300 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, ponds, waterfalls, bridges, and hundreds of flowers, plants, and trees can be found at Gibbs Gardens. The season begins in early March with the Daffodil ColorFest.

Goizueta Gardens at Atlanta History Center may not leap to the top of your mind when thinking of places to visit for spring color in the Atlanta area, however with 32 acres of gardens, trails and woodland areas, you are sure to discover some beauty. It's a lovely sight to see the Swan House lawn blooming in the spring, too. The Olguitas Garden celebrates the life of Goizueta Gardens honoree Olga Olguita C. de Goizueta. Year-round blooms, rich in color, fragrance, and texture, with a pleasing English garden aesthetic.
